COTTESLOE BEACH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

My second favourite beach out of all those that we visited was Cottesloe Beach. It is fair to say that this is the beach I easily knew the most about before visiting Perth as it is hugely marketed, and well the amount of people that were at the beach the same day as me reflected it’s popularity. I loved the Cottesloe building, it added a completely different feel to the beach then any other we visited. All the pine trees in the area made this feel a bit like home, as many of the North Island beaches in New Zealand are fringed with pines. The day was a beautiful 38 degrees while we were there at about 6.30pm and we spent a good 40 minutes walking around, and sitting on the promenade with our feet in the sand.
