This idea is from Gordon Ramsay. I really like how he gives simple tips on how to take a basic idea and run with it and have a big hit. Basically all you need to do for these is quarter, or segment fruits then place in a ziplock bag and chuck in the freezer. Then when you pull them out you can dunk them in a glass of water and they will flavour the water as they melt. Small idea, yet genius!
I did a whole bunch the other day as it is the time of year for colds here in New Zealand. Over the weekend I might pull out a couple of the lemon wedges and throw them in a hot green tea. No only will they melt faster, but they will also cool the tea down.
