This banana bread recipe is easily the best one I have tried, and to make it even better I always add a few chocolate chips. Obviously not as healthy, but it does really improve my mood everytime I bite into one of these banana bread slices.
- 2 c flour
- 1 t baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 150g butter, melted
- ¾ c brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2-3 mashed bananas
- ¾ c chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 180°C and grease or line a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl combine the flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips. Then stir in the beaten eggs and mashed banana until well mixed.
- Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before turning onto a wire rack to cool completely.
*Serve straight out of the oven with ice cream or cream or have a cold slice for a sugar hit in the afternoon
